Y fueron felices / Happily ever after

In the series Happily Ever After, I constantly play with the concept of reality: what is real but doesn’t seem like it, and vice versa. All the characters
and places that appear in the images are real, meaning they are portraying themselves, not dressed up as characters or acting as someone they are not.
At the same time, the picture frames appear to be original antiques, but they are actually cheap, lightweight polyurethane replicas.
